Three Years
Three years ago today we met our families at a beautiful home in Breckenridge to be joined in marriage by your father.
It was a cold, crisp day and snow flurries started to fall just before the ceremony began. What a perfectly magical day to be married.
The glow of our love was reflected in the faces of our loved ones and felt throughout the room. I was emotional and had difficulty saying my vows to you. Your father’s words and our promises to one another were personal and poignant.
Thank you for choosing me. I am lucky to have you – you are my best friend and soulmate. You encourage me to not take myself so seriously. I cherish and respect you for your kindness and wisdom. You are a fantastic father and I look forward to one day taking our children to the place where we began our lives together as husband and wife.
The last three years have been eventful. We got married, had two baby girls, moved three times, went through job layoffs, your father was in a serious car accident and we built our dream home. Whew. And here we are! No matter our challenges, I will always try to meet them with grace and courage knowing you are at my side.
All my love,
Stacy
