“Wait … I need to go brush my teeth, they’re getting all piratey.”
(Referring to one of her favorite books, How I Became A Pirate by Melinda Long and David Shannon. The first line reads, “Pirates have green teeth, when they have any teeth at all.” It’s a clever children’s book with fantastic illustrations. And better yet, it gets her excited about brushing her teeth.)
